hello and welcome!

I am a freelance writer and trainer with work in national and international publications. I have recently relocated from the UK to India and am currently based in Goa.

My work has appeared in The Guardian Weekly, Christian Science Monitor, Hindustan Times, DNA, Mint, Bucks Free Press, The Herald, Bride & Style, Windows & Aisles and Soul & Spirit magazine, among others.

I like writing about travel, green issues, design, literacy, books and lifestyles, but can write about almost anything. For recent samples of my work, please see the 'Portfolio' section.

I enjoy supporting new writers - I helped create Writers' Bloc, a support group for new writers in Mumbai, India and was also a mentor for young writers in the (now closed) Little Owl Mentoring Program. I'm currently helping several new-to- freelancing writers by supporting them with website help, query letters and pep-talks.

I have a degree in Psychology from one of India's best colleges - St. Xaviers, Mumbai.
