freelance writer. amateur parent. future bookseller.
In a former incarnation, I wanted to be a Forensic Psychologist (possibly inspired by too many re-runs of 'The Old Fox' or 'The X-Files').
Life interfered however, and despite a degree in Psychology, I spent ten years shuffling paper at a multinational company in Mumbai. I like to say that life is more than just 9-5, and so I kept my sanity intact by writing, volunteering with the Samaritans, conducting workshops and training programs and adding items to my list of 'Things to do before I die'.
I then moved to the UK, worked with a national Down's syndrome charity and launched a freelance writing career.
Having relocated to India recently, I now write full-time. Other interests that take up my time include blogging, photography, painting and working on solutions to issues that need support in Goa / India / the world. I have an indefatigable sense of optimism and the ideas flow far too much in abundance.
I enjoy working with computers - both with hardware and software. I can't imagine life without the Internet and email and I am eternally grateful to whoever created the Web.
If you would like more information on my work, want to discuss creative solutions to a problem, or just want to say hello, please contact me.
I'm on Linkedin and Twitter. I've been a blogger since 2004 and my most active blogs currently are my writing blog , my personal blog (The Frangipani Journals) and a new blog to indulge my passion for interiors - Frangipani Decor.
