hello and welcome!

I am a freelance writer with articles in print and on the Web. Currently based in Goa, India, I enjoy writing non - fiction articles, travel features and personal essays. I'm also an avid blogger and an effective grant-writer for charities/ NGOs. 

I enjoy supporting new writers - I helped create Writers' Bloc, a support group for new writers in Mumbai, India and was also a mentor for young writers in the Little Owl Mentoring Program. 

I have a degree in Psychology from one of India's best colleges - St. Xaviers, Mumbai.

My essay, 'Greenery, Uninterrupted' was shortlisted in the 2007 Countryside Tales Article Competition (Park Publications). The essay appears in the Winter 2007 edition.
